David Butler

David Butler, MA, LPC-Supervisor, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years of experience in various clinical settings. Currently serving as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor at Talk Therapy Texas since April 2023, David specializes in Telehealth services for adolescents and adults facing diverse mental health challenges. Previously, David provided psychotherapy through Talkspace, conducted comprehensive assessments at Fundamental Foundations Counseling Center, and held roles in clinical care advocacy with Optum and Beacon Health Options. David's extensive background includes crisis intervention, treatment planning, and group therapy in correctional settings, as well as management positions in behavioral health facilities. David holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from East Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English from East Texas State University.
