Uma Gurav is an emerging professional with diverse experience in media and education. Currently serving as an Assistance Broadcast Apprentice at talkSPORT since February 2023, Uma has previously worked as a Project Coordinator at High Fliers Research Limited for a brief period in early 2023. Additionally, experience includes roles as a Student Mentor at Immerse Education and an English Second Language Teacher at EDUCO Italia in mid-2022, as well as tutoring at Gotoco during the same time frame. Uma has also contributed as a University Manager at High Fliers Research Limited at the University of Oxford and completed an internship in television production at Academia Casa Maga in Costa Rica. Early career highlights include being a columnist for The Oxford Blue. Uma holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English from the University of Oxford, earned from 2019 to 2022, following a solid educational foundation at St Helen’s School.
