Ryan D. Lewellyn

President, CEO & Founding Partner at Tall Oak Midstream

Mr. Lewellyn is best identified as a Jesus follower, husband, father of three, and energy industry leader. Mr. Lewellyn’s leadership guides the execution of Tall Oak Midstream’s distinctive vision. He and his partners formed Tall Oak Midstream I in early 2014. Their efforts drove the remarkable growth of the company which culminated in the $1.55 billion sale in January 2016, just two years after Tall Oak I was formed

Mr. Lewellyn and his co-founders formed Tall Oak Midstream II in March 2015 and Tall Oak Midstream III in July 2017 alongside equity partner, EnCap Flatrock Midstream. Tall Oak Midstream II’s existing Midcon System spans six Oklahoma counties (Major, Dewey, Custer, Alfalfa, Woods and Blaine). Tall Oak Midstream III’s growing natural gas gathering system in southeast Oklahoma’s Arkoma STACK play spans Hughes County and portions of Seminole, Pontotoc, Coal, Pittsburg, Atoka and McIntosh counties. The company is also pursuing multiple projects across North America and has access to over $1 billion in financing.

Prior to forming Tall Oak, Mr. Lewellyn served as managing director of DCP Midstream’s Mid-Continent business unit, and prior to that he held various operational and corporate leadership positions with FirstEnergy for their Pennsylvania Electric, Metropolitan Edison, and Cleveland Electric Illuminating companies.

Mr. Lewellyn earned an undergraduate degree in business from Virginia Tech University and went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from Penn State University. He was named an Academic All-American and Virginia Tech Student Athlete of the Year. Mr. Lewellyn is on the Board of the Young President’s Organization (YPO), OKC Chapter. He is a founding member and chairman of the Oklahoma City Folds of Honor Chapter and serves on the Folds of Honor National Board. Tall Oak Midstream, through their founders and many business partners have raised more than $1.5 Million for Folds of Honor. He also serves on the Fight for the Forgotten Board and the Virginia Tech Foundation Board. Mr. Lewellyn is an active member of Life Church in Edmond, Oklahoma. He and his wife, Jenny, have three children and live in Arcadia, OK.
