Nigel Allen

Nigel Allen is currently the President & Chief Advancement Officer for the TMH Foundation at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. Prior to this, they served as the Operations Manager for the Pensacola News Journal from October 2002 to May 2005. In this role, Nigel was responsible for the sales and marketing success of three different products: the Pelican Community Newspaper, GOSPORT Military newspaper, and Pensacola Business Journal. Nigel also served as General Manager for the Pelican, with additional responsibilities for distribution, editorial content, and P&L. Under Nigel's direction, the Pensacola Business Journal was successfully launched to readers and advertisers in 2004. Additionally, they directed an editorial and publishing turnaround of the Pelican Community Newspaper; increasing revenues by 300% in eighteen months, doubling circulation, and establishing it as the leading community newspaper in its market. Nigel also successfully renegotiated a 3-year publishing contract for the GOSPORT military newspaper.

Before their time at the Pensacola News Journal, Nigel was the Owner of AdMonsters Inc. from January 2001 to December 2002. Nigel then served as the President & Chief Advancement Officer for Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare Foundation and finally as Executive Director for Big Bend Hospice Foundation.

Nigel Allen graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Government from Binghamton University.
