Derrick Lawrence

Derrick Lawrence has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Derrick started their career at Otis Elevator Company, where they worked as a Customer Service Agent. In this role, they were responsible for taking customer service requests, dispatching service mechanics, and assisting entrapped passengers. Derrick also had periodic responsibility for service coordination in multiple regions.

After their time at Otis Elevator Company, Derrick joined the University of Connecticut as a Research Assistant. During their tenure, they conducted research, gathered data, and supported various projects.

Most recently, Derrick worked at Tallan as a Senior Software Consultant. In this role, they focused on designing and developing legislation workflow systems for state legislatures in Massachusetts and Delaware. This involved creating .NET web applications, setting up SQL Server back-ends, and integrating with public-facing websites.
