Jerod Howell

Jerod Howell has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Jerod started their career as a Computer Technician at Chicopee Public Schools in 1999, where they were responsible for updating and maintaining information networks and troubleshooting computer issues. From 2001 to 2008, they owned and operated Cyber Surf Shop, where they oversaw repairs of computer problems and managed the business operations.

In 2012, Jerod joined Springfield Public Schools as a Senior Computer Systems Engineer. In this role, they managed and maintained Windows Servers, implemented server technologies, and updated Exchange Servers. After three years, they moved on to Rolta AdvizeX as an Information Technology Delivery Consultant. There, they designed and migrated enterprise mail and data systems to Exchange Online and Office 365.

Jerod then worked as an Information Technology Consultant at American Fibertech Corporation from 2017 to 2018. Jerod focused on the migration of Linux-based POP3 mail to Office 365, performed updates and optimization of virtualization and storage environment, and implemented Skype for Business.

From 2018 to 2020, Jerod worked at Integrated IT where they held multiple roles, including Project Engineer, Security Engineer, and Field Engineer II. Jerod participated in various projects such as enterprise mail and data system migrations, network hardware and infrastructure refreshes, and security audits for compliance. Jerod also provided technical support for system and network issues.

Currently, Jerod serves as a Lead Consultant in the Cloud Practice at Tallan. Jerod'sresponsibilities include guiding and supporting developers in building Cloud-enabled applications, planning and deploying Cloud solutions for Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 clients, and creating IaaS and PaaS cloud solutions.

Throughout their career, Jerod has demonstrated expertise in cloud computing, systems engineering, network administration, and project management.

Jerod Howell attended Chicopee Comprehensive High School from 1993 to 1997, where they completed the College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program, earning their Diploma. In addition to their high school education, Jerod obtained certifications throughout their career. In 1999, they earned the A+ Certification from CompTIA. Later, in 2015, they obtained the MCSA: Windows Server 2012 and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certifications from Microsoft.
