Martin Mürk

CIO at Tallink Grupp

Martin Mürk has a diverse work experience in various companies. Martin started their career as a Software Specialist at G4S from September 2001 to January 2007. Martin then worked as an Area Manager, IT at Estravel from February 2007 to May 2012, where they were responsible for IT helpdesk and maintenance and implemented data analytics. Martin joined EMT as a Project Manager from May 2012 to March 2015. After that, they served as the Head of Digital at Telia Eesti from April 2015 to June 2017, leading a team and responsible for sales and development planning of online channels and tools. Currently, Martin is working at Tallink Grupp, where they started as the Head of Group Customer Experience and Big Data from August 2017 to February 2019, leading the customer analytics and digital channels team. Martin then took on the role of CIO from February 2019 onwards.

Martin Mürk holds a Master's degree in Business Information Technology from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, which they obtained in 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology at the same institution in 2005. Martin also has a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
