Gary Mar has extensive experience in the fields of software development, solutions architecture, and data management. Gary served as Course Coordinator at The University of Auckland, overseeing information systems courses in 2004-2005. From 2005, Gary held various roles including Test Analyst at Fonterra, Software Developer for the Royal New Zealand Navy, and multiple positions at Agility CIS Ltd, where responsibilities included solutions architect, senior analyst programmer, general manager of projects, and analyst programmer. Most recently, Gary worked at Trail CRM as an SQL & DevOps Engineer and ETL Developer, focusing on data processes and system performance. As of July 2024, Gary is the Principal Solutions Architect at Tally Group. Educational qualifications include a BCom and BSci in Information Systems and Computer Science, along with honors in Information Systems from the University of Auckland.
