Karan Singhal

Karan Singhal is an experienced consultant specializing in gender and economic inclusion, currently working at the International Finance Corporation (October 2024 - Present) and the World Bank Group (July 2023 - Present). Karan holds additional consulting roles focused on CSR strategy at Tally Solutions Pvt Ltd and as a board member of the WES Foundation, which aims to improve primary education access for underprivileged children in Dhanpuri, India. Karan's research expertise includes positions as a visiting researcher at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research and a visiting young scholar at DIW Berlin. Previous roles include project expertise at the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy and significant research positions at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, where Karan managed extensive research projects on food security and social policy.
