Camila Cortez

Camila Cortez is a GIS Specialist at Talman Consultants, LLC, with prior experience as a Summer Intern at The Field Museum, where land cover classification and change detection mapping were conducted to support ecological restoration efforts. Camila has interned at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, focusing on imaging spectroscopy and functional diversity analysis, and served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at DePaul University, leading various environmental research projects. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Conservation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from DePaul University.
