Sarah Cuvala

Sarah Cuvala has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Sarah started their career as an Intern at HBK Engineering, LLC from May 2013 to December 2015. Sarah then joined Talman Consultants, LLC in January 2016 as a Designer in Traffic Control, where they developed traffic control plans and ensured regulatory compliance. From August 2018 to January 2020, they served as a Senior Project Manager in Traffic Control, leading a team and overseeing the entire lifecycle of traffic design projects. Sarah was then promoted to the role of Senior Project Manager | Owners Representative from February 2020 to November 2022, where they were responsible for project oversight and ensuring compliance with Chicago's specifications and standards for the installation of a natural gas pipeline. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Project Engineer at Talman Consultants, LLC.

Sarah Cuvala attended Moraine Valley Community College from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree. During that time, they also earned a CAD Specialist certificate and an Architectural CAD certificate. Sarah then enrolled at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
