Aashna Parekh

Aashna Parekh has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Aashna is currently a Product Designer at Talon.One, beginning their role in September 2022. Prior to this, Aashna worked at HDFC Bank as a Senior UX Specialist from October 2020 to June 2022. Aashna also served as a Service Designer at Design Against Crime from October 2019 to March 2020. Additionally, Aashna was a Lighting Talk Speaker at the Service Design Fringe Festival in October 2019. Aashna participated in the Design Academy program at Design Council as a Service Designer from January to February 2019. Before that, Aashna worked as a Service Design Consultant at Southwark Council from November 2018 to January 2019, focusing on improving the experiences of older people using public transport and open spaces. Aashna'swork at Southwark Council involved the development of a movement plan for transport planning in the area. Aashna also gained experience as a Retail Designer at FITCH from June 2017 to August 2018. Aashna started their career as an Intern at Rooshad Shroff Architecture+Design from June to November 2016 and participated in a summer internship at FITCH in 2015.

Aashna Parekh pursued a Master of Arts degree in Service Experience Design and Innovation at the University of the Arts London from 2018 to 2019. Before that, from 2012 to 2017, they attended MIT Institute of Design where they studied Retail and Exhibition Design.
