Shane Rai

Shane Rai has a diverse work experience spanning from 2002 to 2020. In 2002, they were a Software Development Engineer Intern at Physician Micro Systems, Inc. From 2003 to 2005, they were an Undergrad Research Software Engineer at the University of Washington and a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. In 2012, they were a Product Manager, Social Intelligence at SDL plc. In 2014, they co-founded VinoRai, a national importer of quality wines from emerging regions. In 2015, they were an Investor and VP Data & Product, Co-Founder at TenPoint7, a venture-backed global consulting provider. In 2018, they were a Co-Founder/Member and Head Data & Product, GM Vietnam and Co-Founder at Talosix. In 2020, they became a Principal Product Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a Mentor at Iterative Capital.

Shane Rai completed a B.S. in Computing and Software Systems from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Calcutta, India. In addition, Rai has obtained several certifications, including an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2020, a Neural Networks and Deep Learning certification from Coursera in December 2018, a Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach certification from Coursera in September 2018, a The Data Scientist’s Toolbox certification from Coursera Verified Certificates in August 2015, and a PMC-3 (Foundations, Focus, Build) certification from Pragmatic Marketing in December 2013.
