Artem Zitzer has extensive work experience in the mining industry, with a focus on using data analytics to optimize machine performance and improve safety. Artem is currently a Board Member and Co-Founder at talpasolutions GmbH, a predictive SaaS analytics provider for the mining industry that specializes in building visualization and analysis applications for the industrial internet. Artem has also worked as a Junior Engineer and Undergraduate Associate at DMT from 2009 to 2015. Additionally, they have held mining trainee positions at Lhoist, RAG Deutsche Steinkohle AG, and Deilmann-Haniel Mining Systems GmbH.

Artem Zitzer began their education in 2008 at RWTH Aachen University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mineral Resource Engineering. Artem completed their undergraduate program in 2011. Following this, Artem continued their academic journey at RWTH Aachen University, enrolling in the Master of Science program in Mineral Resource Engineering, which they successfully completed in 2014. In 2011, Artem also participated in the EMC (European Mining Course) program at Aalto University. In 2012, they further expanded their knowledge and experience by joining the EMC program at Delft University of Technology and the University of Exeter.
