Talquin Electric Cooperative
Mike Temple joined Talquin Electric Cooperative in 2018 as Director of Administration. Prior to coming to Talquin, Mike served honorably as Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserves for over 30 years and has been with electric cooperatives since 1993. Most recently he worked for the Alabama Rural Electric Association (AREA) as the Director of Training and Risk Management for 16 years. At AREA, Mike exercised his executive leadership skills in training and development, risk management, information technology, safety, as well as coordinating critical mutual aid during times of natural disaster. Mike has a Bachelor degree in Communications/Psychology, which he received from Shippensburg University.

Talquin has powered its community since 1940 and provides water and wastewater services from Florida's Gulf Coast, north to the Florida State line, including portions of Tallahassee and surrounding areas.
