Valerie Carricaburu

Valerie Carricaburu is currently an advisor at Talus Bio. Valerie has over 20 years of experience in the biotechnology industry, with a focus on IP and program management.

Valerie was previously VP of Program Management & IP at VICIS, Inc., where they led the company's IP strategy and portfolio management. Valerie also served as the IP Management Lead - Global Good at Intellectual Ventures, where they were responsible for the IP strategy and portfolio management for the Global Good division.

Prior to that, they were the Director of Strategic Alliances at the Pacific Northwest Research Institute (PNRI), where they led the institute's IP strategy and portfolio management. During their time at PNRI, they also oversaw the creation of a center of excellence, assembled a multidisciplinary research team, and sourced partnerships for the development of research programs.

Carricaburu has a deep understanding of the biotechnology industry and has proven herself as a leader in IP and program management. Her experience will be a valuable asset to Talus Bio as they continue to grow their company.
