Marcel Holdener

Marcel Holdener currently serves as the CTO and a member of the Executive Board at Tamedia, a position held since April 2025. Prior experience includes leading the platform engineering initiative at Zürcher Kantonalbank, focusing on the bank's cloud journey and transformation into agile leadership from July 2020 to August 2024. Marcel has also held multiple leadership roles at SIX from April 2014 to June 2020, including Head of Incubation, Head of IT Innovation & Digital, and Head of IT Infrastructure, where responsibilities spanned innovation methodology, agile service development, and global IT transformation. Earlier in 2012, Marcel was a Taskforce Manager at Swiss Life, defining service clusters and developing business cases. Marcel holds a certification in Leadership Excellence from INSEAD and a CAS in Next Generation Leadership from HWZ University.
