Leon Dowd

Leon Dowd is currently the Deputy Principal at Tameside College, where they focus on quality and people. With extensive experience in educational leadership, they previously served as the Vice Principal for Quality and People at Tameside College and held several positions at Salford College, including Quality Improvement and Staff Development Manager. Additionally, they have been actively involved in governance as Chair of the Board at Salford Academy Trust and as Chair of the Governing Body at Droylsden Academy. Leon earned an MSc in Strategic Leadership and Change with distinction from The Manchester Metropolitan University and is currently pursuing further education at The University of Salford.
