John Sweeny

John Sweeny has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John began their career in the US Army as an Army Officer, serving from May 1998 to March 2003. Following their military service, they joined TAMKO, where they held various leadership roles. John started as a Six Sigma Black Belt in March 2003 and then progressed to become the General Manager of Manufacturing from 2004 to 2009. John subsequently took on the role of General Manager of Engineering and Construction from 2009 to 2017. Most recently, they served as the General Manager of Manufacturing from 2017 to 2022. Currently, John holds the position of Vice President of Business Process Transformation at TAMKO.

John Sweeny attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Systems Engineering from Southern Methodist University, attending from 2000 to 2002. In 2010, John Sweeny enrolled at the University of Arkansas, completing their studies in 2012 and earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Additionally, in July 2023, they obtained a certification in "Generative AI: Executive Strategies to Unlock Enterprise Value" from Kellogg Executive Education.
