Wayne Westgaard

Wayne Westgaard has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. WAYNE began their career as an Armored Cavalry Officer in the US Army, serving for nine years. In 2002, they transitioned to the private sector and joined TAMKO, a roofing products manufacturing company. At TAMKO, Wayne held several management positions including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Plant General Manager in multiple locations (Naples, Phillipsburg, and Dallas), and IT Director of Business Process Innovation. During their time at TAMKO, they implemented various process improvement initiatives, led automation projects, and mentored teams in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. In 2020, Wayne became the Director of Customer Interface Systems & Analytics, where they successfully deployed E-commerce processes and implemented digital customer experience technologies using Salesforce. Currently, Wayne holds the position of Director of Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, & Integrations at TAMKO, where they lead the implementation of AI and machine learning initiatives across the organization.

Wayne Westgaard earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University between 1992 and 1996. Later, in 2016 to 2018, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Texas at Tyler. Additionally, Wayne Westgaard obtained various certifications related to Lean Six Sigma, including Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Design for Lean Six Sigma (DFLSS), Lean Leader, Toolmaster, Train the Trainer, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from BMGI, with the earliest certification obtained in October 2002 and the latest certifications obtained in November 2015.
