Jacob Lynn is the current Digital Media Manager at the Tampa Bay Lightning, and they have held this position since August of 2017. Prior to that, they were an intern at B2 Communications from May to August of 2017, where they were responsible for the daily maintenance of the firm's clients, including press releases, social media and blog posts. Jacob also conducted research on variety of topics to assist with the management of accounts, and contributed to the production of the Tampa Bay 100, a publication highlighting interesting and important topics in Tampa Bay.
From January to August of 2016, Jacob was an intern with the Tampa Bay Rowdies, a minor league affiliate. Jacob managed public relations and media relations for the team, and developed a comprehensive social media campaign using Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. Jacob also served as team photographer, captured shots during practices/matches, and edited photos. In addition, they developed original content for the team website and led gameday media relations.
Prior to their internships, Jacob was the Sports Editor at The DePauw from August 2014 to May 2015. Jacob was also a sports intern at the Tampa Bay Times - Times Publishing Co from May to August of 2015.
Jacob Lynn completed their undergraduate degree in Communication and Media Studies at DePauw University.
Jacob Lynn reports to Brittany Austin, Senior Director of Creative and Brand Strategy.
