Sameh Fouad

Sameh Fouad has extensive work experience in the sales and hospitality industry. Sameh started their career as a Guest Service Agent at Tropicana Hotels & Resorts in 2005 and was later promoted to Assistant Reservation Manager In charge at Tropicana New Tower Hotel in 2006. In 2007, they became a Sales Executive at Tropicana Hotels & Resorts, managing 80,000+ room nights per month across seven properties in Sharm El Sheikh. Sameh then joined Tourico Holidays in 2009 as a Sales Manager for the Middle East & GCC markets, where they successfully introduced the brand to the region and closed deals with wholesale and retail clients. Sameh was later promoted to Regional Sales Manager for MENA, responsible for contributing to strategic plans, achieving sales objectives, and maintaining relationships with top clients. In 2016, Sameh joined GTA as a Strategic Account Manager, where they maintained and expanded relationships with large customers and achieved sales targets. Sameh then moved to Hotelbeds in 2018, initially as the Regional Head of Sales for Africa & Saudi Arabia and later as the Regional Head of Sales for the Middle East. Currently, Sameh holds the position of Commercial Director for the Middle East & Africa at TBO.COM and is due to become the Vice President of Sales for the MEA region in 2023.

Sameh Fouad earned a B.A in English and American Literature from Alexandria University between 2001 and 2005. In 2020-2021, they pursued an Executive MBA with a focus on Management & Leadership at Jack Welch Management Institute.
