Frank Maldonado

Coordinator, Complex Programming & Fundamentals at Tampa Bay Rays

Frank Maldonado has extensive experience in baseball coaching and development, currently serving as the Coordinator of Complex Programming & Fundamentals for the Tampa Bay Rays since January 2020. Prior to this role, Frank held positions as MiLB Manager and Manager of Hitting Development, as well as MiLB Hitting Coach. Frank's coaching career includes serving as Head Baseball Coach at Greensboro College from December 2015 to March 2020, and Assistant Baseball Coach at the University of Tampa and the University of South Florida, where responsibilities took place from December 2005 to December 2015 and July 2010 to December 2014, respectively. Frank began coaching at California Lutheran University from June 2000 to December 2005 while also possessing educational credentials from California Lutheran University from 1996 to 1997.
