Rachel Heacock

Rachel Heacock currently serves as a Development Research Analyst for the Tampa Bay Rays, a role commenced in November 2021. Previous experience includes positions as a Senior Data Analyst and Data Analyst II at WHOOP from November 2020 to May 2022, and as an Analyst in Player Development with the Minnesota Twins from March 2018 to November 2020. Rachel gained initial experience as an Intern in Baseball Operations at the Minnesota Twins and as a Player Development Intern with the Baltimore Orioles in 2017. Additionally, Rachel contributed as a writer for The Hardball Times and SB Nation, focusing on sabermetrics in baseball. Rachel's educational background includes a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Virginia, complemented by a Business Certification from the McIntire Business Institute at the University of Virginia.
