James Smith, P.E. has over a decade of experience in engineering, starting with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida. Currently serving as an Engineer at Tampa Bay Water since February 2021, James brings prior experience as a Mechanical Engineer at MES Group, Inc. from July 2016 to February 2021, and at American Tool and Mold from January 2013 to July 2016. James also held a managerial position at the University of South Florida's Marshall Student Center from January 2010 to December 2012, where responsibilities included overseeing operations, task delegation, and enhancing customer relations. Earlier experience includes design internships at American Tool and Mold and Golf Company, where skills in CAD software and problem-solving were developed.
