IT Service Quality Analyst Quality Coach at Tampa Electric Company

Ben Compton has extensive experience in IT service quality and communications. Currently serving as the VP of Communications for the Tampa Bay HDI Chapter since September 2007, Ben is responsible for external communications, including emails and website updates. Concurrently, as an IT Service Quality Analyst at Tampa Electric, Ben focuses on fostering a positive work culture while improving IT support service quality. Ben's previous roles include President of the HDI Skyway Chapter (2015-2016) and a Sr. Systems Analyst at TECO Energy in the late 1990s, where skills in web development and various programming languages were utilized. Additional experience includes messaging analysis at Novell and consulting. Ben completed education at Utah Valley University from 1987 to 1990.
