Richard Latta

Richard Latta is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting, currently serving as Controller at Tampa Electric since September 2017. Richard has also held positions such as Assistant Controller and Director of Financial Reporting at the same company. Prior to this, Richard was Manager of Corporate Accounting at TECO Services Inc. and held various roles at Tampa Electric Company, including Supervisor of External Reporting and Controls. Richard's expertise encompasses the preparation and maintenance of financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, coordination of external audits, and interaction with finance and operating departments to develop financial plans. Richard holds both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida.
