Scott Cannon

Scott Cannon is currently the Director - Design & Engineering at Tampa Electric since November 2021. Prior to this role, Scott held various positions at Tampa Electric from October 1992 to November 2020, including Director at Polk Power Station and Bayside Power Station, as well as Manager in different departments. Scott also served as an Engineer in Lighting & Corporate Operating Services. Before their career at Tampa Electric, Scott served in the US Navy from April 1982 to April 1988 as an Electrician in the Nuclear Power Program, responsible for the operation and maintenance of electrical distribution systems aboard nuclear-powered submarines. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida.
