Uwe Krause

Uwe Krause has extensive experience in electric distribution management and operations, currently serving as a Distribution System Operator at Tampa Electric since April 2017. Previously, Uwe held the position of Senior Electric Control System Operator at National Grid from August 2007 to April 2017, overseeing critical procedures such as voltage management and emergency response activities across multiple states. Uwe's prior roles at Com Ed included First Line Supervisor, Operations Dispatcher, and Engineering Assistant, where responsibilities included project management, dispatching during outages, and conducting safety meetings. Uwe holds a degree in Electric Power Technology and Energy Management from Bismarck State and has a strong background in operational systems and equipment management.
