Beau Zimmer

Beau Zimmer currently serves as the Communications Manager at Tampa International Airport since November 2021. Previously, Beau Zimmer worked as a General Assignment and Investigative Reporter at WTSP-TV from November 2005 to November 2021, covering significant events such as major hurricanes, the BP oil spill, and the Parkland school shooting. Beau Zimmer also held roles as a Multi-Skilled Journalist at TEGNA and a Reporter at Gannett during the same period. Earlier experience includes serving as a General Assignment Reporter at WDRB News and WCJB TV20, where coverage included breaking news and significant weather events. Beau Zimmer started a career in journalism as an intern with CBS News on the 48 Hours program. Academically, Beau Zimmer earned a BS in Telecommunications News from the University of Florida and an Associate of Arts degree from St. Petersburg College.
