Carlos Sharpless

Carlos Sharpless is the current Trustee at the Tampa Museum of Art. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director, Head of Public Finance at Cabrera Capital Markets, LLC from June 2015 to February 2016. Before that, they were with Sterne Agee from January 2014 to April 2015 as the Managing Director. Carlos was also with Sterne Agee from March 2008 to June 2011 in the same capacity. Carlos has over 25 years of experience in investment banking and capital markets. Carlos has significant experience in public finance, including working with municipalities, school districts, and other governmental entities.

Carlos Sharpless has a BSFS from Georgetown University in International Economics, an MBA from Southern Methodist University in Finance/Accounting, and is certified by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in Series 7 General Securities Registered Representative, Series 24 General Securities Principal, Series 50 Municipal Advisor Representative, Series 53 Municipal Securities Principal, Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law, and Series 79 Investment Banking Representative.
