Eric Hart, CVE

President/CEO at Tampa Sports Authority

Eric Hart, CVE has worked in the events and facilities industry for over 30 years. From 1990 to 1992, they were a Graduate Assistant at Braden Auditorium. From 1992 to 1998, they worked as an Event Coordinator and Patron Services Manager at the Iowa State Center. From 1998 to 2002, they were an Associate Director and Assistant Director at the University of Illinois at Chicago. From 2002 to 2005, they were the Director of Event Services at the Minneapolis Convention Center. From 2005 to 2009, they were the President/CEO of the Lansing Entertainment and Public Facilities Authority (LEPFA). Since 2009, they have been the President/CEO of the Tampa Sports Authority (TSA) in Tampa, Florida. At the TSA, Eric manages Raymond James Stadium, three City of Tampa municipal golf courses, the Tampa Bay Times Forum, and Steinbrenner Field.

Eric Hart, CVE's education history includes a Masters of Science in Business Education and Administrative Services from Illinois State University from 1990-1992, a Bachelors of Science in Finance from Illinois State University from 1986-1990, and high school from Lake Zurich High School from 1982-1986. Eric also attended the Senior Executive Symposium at Cornell University for Hospitality Administration/Management.
