Daniel Lehtonen

Daniel Lehtonen is a part-time teacher at Tampere University since September 2023, focusing on guiding courses related to wooden structures and the fundamentals of wood and steel structures. Prior to this role, Daniel served as a structural engineer at A-Insinöörit from May 2022 to September 2025, participating in design tasks for residential and commercial construction. Daniel gained relevant experience as a summer trainee at Ramboll in 2021 and completed multiple trainee positions in the bridge design unit at the same company from 2019 to 2020. Earlier work includes construction roles with Rekrytointipalvelu Sihti Oy and WorkPower Oy. Daniel holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Tampere University, obtained in 2022, and a Bachelor of Science degree in the same field, completed in 2020. Education also includes a year with the Finnish Air Force and a Matriculation Examination from Jyväskylän normaalikoulun lukio.
