Tianyu Zhu

Tianyu Zhu has a diverse work experience in the fields of software development and data operations. Tianyu started their career as an Automated QA Developer at Unitron Hearing in 2008. In 2010, they joined Sybase as a RAP Tools Developer where they quickly learned Java and successfully developed and maintained two applications. In 2011, they worked as a Software Developer at Endeca, followed by a role as a Software Developer at Oracle in 2012. Since 2013, Tianyu has been working at Tamr Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer. In this role, they have enabled multiple teams of DataOps Engineers to manage complex data pipelines and has developed a simple language for transforming tabular data.

Tianyu Zhu pursued a degree in Combinatorics and Optimization with a focus on Computer Science from the University of Waterloo from 2008 to 2013.
