James McCoy

James McCoy has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years. James started their career at Alltrust Insurance in March 2005 as the Director of Sales for Small Group and Individual Policies. In this role, they were responsible for increasing new sales revenue, retaining existing clients, and expanding the brand awareness of Alltrust Insurance. James left Alltrust Insurance in July 2010 to join CoAdvantage, where they worked for two years. In August 2010, they joined McCoy Walsingham Insurance as President. In this role, they were responsible for PEO/HRO consulting, assisting with benefit strategy and health care reform planning, and sales campaigns and sales team development. James left McCoy Walsingham Insurance in January 2018 to join Tandem HR as VP of Brokerage.

James McCoy earned their B.S. in Marketing from Siena Heights University. James then took some general courses in Employee Benefits at Monroe County Community College. Finally, they completed their GBA in Employee Benefits from the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School.

They are on a team with Sally Rotter - VP, EAP Services, Marcus Wilbers - Chief Client Officer, and Brett Cable - CFO. James McCoy reports to Tara Conger, President.
