Arnd Aschentrup has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Arnd co-founded and served as the CEO of Tandem - The Language Exchange, a language learning platform that allows users to practice with native speakers. Tandem received recognition from Apple and Google for its innovative approach. Before Tandem, Arnd co-founded and served as the CEO of Tripod Technology GmbH.
Arnd has also held key positions at Mobile Streams, first as the Chief Operating Officer and later as the Senior Vice President - Global Content Operations. Arnd co-founded and served as the CEO of Cyoshi Mobile GmbH, a mobile media production and distribution company that was later acquired by Mobile Streams plc.
Prior to that, Arnd co-founded and served as the CEO of Cyoshi Crucial GmbH. Arnd also worked as a Summer Fellow at McKinsey & Company and as a Project Manager Research at diffferent strategy & planning GmbH.
Arnd Aschentrup attended Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media from 1998 to 2002. During this time, they pursued a Master's degree in Mediamanagement and focused their studies on Media Sciences, Communication Research, and Psychology. In the year 2000, they also briefly attended Örebro University, where they took courses in the field of International Media Systems.
