Samet Uzun has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Samet started their career as an Art Director Trainee at HappyDigital in 2013, followed by roles as a Junior Art Director at HappyDigital and Moin Social in 2014 and 2015 respectively. Samet then joined Linker Creative as an Art Director in 2015, where they were responsible for developing communication strategies and managing the design process for various clients. In 2017, they became a UX/UI Designer at Hopi, a mobile loyalty platform, where they focused on user experience and interface design. In 2019, they joined QNBEYOND as a Visual Experience Designer, working on innovation projects and creating branding materials. Samet also worked as a Guest Lecturer in the Graphic Design Department at Marmara University in 2021, sharing their expertise in user experience and interface design. Currently, Samet is a Senior Product Designer at Tandem - Language Exchange, where they collaborate with a team to design and develop new features for the language learning community.

From 2016 to 2021, Samet Uzun attended Beykent University's Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü (Faculty of Social Sciences), specializing in İletişim ve Tasarım Ana Sanat Dalı (Communication and Design Major).
Prior to that, between 2012 and 2015, Samet Uzun studied at Beykent University's İletişim Fakültesi (Faculty of Communication), focusing on Görsel İletişim (Visual Communication).
Before joining Beykent University, from 2010 to 2012, Samet Uzun attended Marmara University's Meslek Yüksek Okulu (Vocational School), studying Basım ve Yayın Teknolojileri (Printing and Publishing Technologies).
Samet Uzun's earliest educational experience was at Maçka Akif Tunçel Anadolu Teknik Lisesi (Maçka Akif Tunçel Anatolian Technical High School) from 2006 to 2010, where the field of study was Gazetecilik Alanı (Journalism Field).
In addition to their formal education, Samet Uzun has obtained certifications in Design Thinking from The Interaction Design Foundation in August 2020 and in Information Visualization from the same institution in June 2020.
