Abir Ganguly has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Abir began as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Penn State University from 2009 to 2012. Abir then moved to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2012 to 2014. After that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Coal Research from 2014 to 2017. Abir then worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Center for Integrative Proteomics Research, Rutgers University, from 2017 to 2019. Most recently, they have been an Associate Director, Free Energy Lead at TandemAI since 2022.
Abir Ganguly completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physical Chemistry, Biological Chemistry, and Theoretical and Computational Chemistry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they studied Chemistry at Penn State University from 2009 to 2012.
