Dominique Boisvert

Dominique Boisvert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of technology and animation. Currently serving as a Limited Partner at TandemLaunch Inc. since July 2013, Dominique is an investor in TandemLaunch Ventures I & II LP. Previous experience includes a partnership at Fly Studio from 1997 to 2001, where Dominique played a key role in transforming the company into a significant player in motion graphics in Montreal. As Software Developer and Chief Technology Officer at Discreet Logic from 1992 to 1996, Dominique contributed to the development of the Flame/Inferno/Flint suite of post-production software, which was utilized in prominent films such as Forrest Gump. Additionally, Dominique served as Director of 3D Animation at Softimage from 1990 to 1992, co-authoring the first release of the 3D character animation module and developing its Inverse Kinematics tools. Dominique holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Animation from Université de Montréal and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Université Laval.
