April Jang

April Jang is a firmware designer at Tangent Design Engineering. April previously worked as a system designer and software developer at the University of Calgary, where they upgraded and provided validation for a vortex-induced vibration (VIV) energy harvester research system. April also optimized the effects of VIV with the use of an evolutionary algorithm. April has also served as president of the UofC Community Garden Club, where they were responsible for overall management, vision and direction of the club, serving and representing all plot holders and student stakeholders of the Community Garden. April also oversaw the relocation of the Community Garden (Summer 2015) and mitigated the impacts of mandatory school construction to the garden (2016 - 2017).

April Jang has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
