Deidre McCormick

Deidre McCormick has a diverse work experience in various marketing and management roles. Deidre began their career as the Director of Membership and Community & Economic Development, as well as the Interim Director of Tourism, at the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce from 2001 to 2006. During this time, their responsibilities included organizing monthly and annual events, securing sponsorships, managing the Chamber Ambassadors, and successfully leading the annual Black Tie event to a profit.

In 2008, Deidre joined the Branson Airport as the Marketing Manager. In addition to their marketing duties, they also managed the gift shop and played a significant role in the airport's grand opening, which included the organization of the largest three-day air show in the country. Deidre continued in this position until 2011.

From 2012 to the present, Deidre has been associated with Tanger Outlets, where they started as the Assistant General Manager. In this role, they oversaw local marketing partnerships, including sponsorships, events, tenant relations, and communications. Deidre also managed local social media and customer service, as well as assisted with facility management, operations, and income generation. Recently, they were promoted to the position of Marketing Director, where their responsibilities expanded further.

Throughout their career, Deidre has demonstrated their expertise in marketing, event management, community engagement, and team leadership.

Deidre McCormick has a diverse education history. Deidre started their academic journey in 1985 by pursuing an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities at Cottey College, where they studied until 1987. Subsequently, they transferred to the University of Central Missouri in 1987 and completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance/Broadcast Journalism in 1989. Later on, in 1998, Deidre enrolled in the University of Arkansas to pursue graduate coursework in Theatre Management, which they completed in 2000.
