Jennifer Himes

Jennifer Himes has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Jennifer currently holds the position of Vice President, Associate Counsel at Tanger Outlets, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as Senior Counsel at Tanger Outlets from March 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Tanger Outlets, Jennifer worked as Of Counsel at Tuggle Duggins P.A., specializing in business litigation, bankruptcy, employment law, and real estate. Jennifer held this position from May 2014 to March 2021.

Jennifer also worked as Senior Counsel at Husch Blackwell from May 2011 to October 2013. Jennifer served as Of Counsel/Member at The Hale Law Group, PLLC (formerly known as Hale, Dewey, Knight, PLLC) from September 2007 to April 2011.

Prior to that, Jennifer worked as an Associate at Buchanan & Land, LLP from May 2006 to June 2007. Jennifer handled complex civil litigation defense and class action defense cases, as well as trademark infringement defense and select plaintiff work.

Earlier in their career, Jennifer took on the role of Sr. Associate/Member at Husch & Eppenberger, LLC from January 2003 to May 2005. Here, they represented national and international clients in creditor's rights bankruptcy practice, specializing in Chapter 11 bankruptcies and defense in adversary proceedings.

Jennifer began their legal career as an Associate at Hale Headrick, PLLC from July 2001 to January 2003. Jennifer primarily represented creditors in creditor's rights bankruptcy cases and defended clients in adversary proceedings.

Jennifer's first legal position was as an Attorney at AutoZone, Inc. from March 1998 to July 2001. Here, they negotiated and drafted legal agreements and resolved various legal issues related to store development.

Jennifer Himes obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Anthropology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. Later, from 1994 to 1997, they pursued a JD (Juris Doctor) degree in Law at The University of Memphis—Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.
