Pranav Shah Cissp

Pranav Shah, a CISSP and CISM, has over 20 years of work experience in the field of technology and cyber risk governance. Pranav served as the Director, Technology & Cyber Risk Governance at Tangerine from 2019 to present, where they developed an integrated view of technology risk, audit, compliance, and cyber security controls. Previously, they were the Senior Manager, Enterprise Security at Tangerine from 2017 to 2018, responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive cyber security program. Prior to that, they worked at Weston Foods as the Senior Manager, Security & Risk Management, North America, from 2015 to 2017, where they designed and implemented an information security program aligned with industry standards. Pranav also has extensive experience at Sony Electronics, where they held various positions including Head of Infrastructure, Security, Risk, and Technology. In this role, they led the translation of business objectives into achievable IT strategic plans and managed a team of IT professionals.

Pranav Shah, CISSP, CISM, holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from York University, which they obtained in 1994. In 2008, they obtained the certification of CISM - Certified Information Security Manager from ISACA. In 2012, they acquired the ITIL Foundation certification from ITIL. Lastly, in 2016, they obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)².
