Robin Kar has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. They worked at Tangerine starting in 2016, initially as a Manager in Contact Routing and Telephony, then moving on to become a Manager in Reporting, Analytics, and Contact Routing, and finally as the Head of Digital Service, responsible for improving client digital self-help experiences. Prior to Tangerine, Robin worked at Capital One as a Senior Operations Manager and Product Owner for Telephony and Agent Desktop, as well as a Process Manager for Online Banking and Production Services. They also worked as an Analyst in Contact Centre Technology at CIBC and as a Developer at Hydrogenics. Their earliest work experience was as an Information Technology Analyst at Ontario Power Generation.

Robin Kar obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from Western University from 2000 to 2004. In 2013, they also obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum Alliance.
