Sarah Gowdy Martin has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. Sarah is currently the Vice President of Open Banking and Everyday Banking at Tangerine, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, Sarah held various leadership roles at Scotiabank, including Vice President of Retail Day-to-Day and Payment Products, Vice President of Global Business Payments, and Director of Canadian Business Deposits. Sarah also served as Director of Mobile Banking & IVR and Director of Communications. Sarah began their career at Scotiabank as a Sales and Service Manager and later worked as a Financial Advisor.

Sarah Gowdy Martin completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from McMaster University between 1994 and 1998. Later, they pursued their Master's of Business Administration degree in Financial Services from Dalhousie University from 2005 to 2009.
