Emily Flynn is currently working as a Product Research Lead at Tangible, focusing on understanding embodied carbon performance. Prior to this, Emily was a Founding Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, where Emily conducted research on natural gas use reduction in commercial buildings. Emily also served as a Climate Corps Fellow at the NYC Department of Buildings, advocating for building decarbonization. With a background in mechanical engineering, Emily has experience at companies like WeWork and Buro Happold, specializing in MEP systems and design. Emily holds a Master of Science in Building Science, Technology, and Sustainability from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
