James Vowles has extensive work experience, starting as an Organizational Leader at Southwestern Company from 1992 to 1994. James then worked at Procter & Gamble, holding various roles such as Business Unit Director, Commercial Director for P&G UK & Ireland, and WE Commercial Director for Homecare. In 2016, they founded and became the Director of Pretty Athletic while also serving as an SME advisor. Since 2017, James Vowles has been the Chief Commercial Officer and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Tangle Teezer Ltd, where they have been instrumental in transforming haircare routines.

James Vowles obtained a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, studying from 2002 to 2006. Prior to this, they completed an MSc in Business Administration at the University of Bath, from 1991 to 1995.
