Eyal Shohet

Eyal Shohet has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and industries. Eyal currently holds the position of Vice President of Payments Operation & Fraud Prevention at Tango, a popular mobile app for social live streaming. In this role, they are responsible for growing and optimizing the payment operations for the Creator Economy.

Prior to joining Tango, Eyal served as the VP of Payments and Risk Operation at MEMO Global from 2013 to 2022. In this role, they led the multi-million-dollar global payments strategy for over 20 processing companies and corporate banking. Eyal was responsible for developing growth strategies, ensuring operational efficiency, and overseeing technical integration in complex payment environments.

Before their time at MEMO Global, Eyal served as the Director of Global Payments at UFX.COM from 2017 to 2018. Eyal has also held positions such as VP, Head of Division - ePayment, Risk Management & eCommerce at DSNR - Memo Global and Head of Fraud Prevention Issuing & Acquiring, Risk Management Division at Visa CAL Israel (ICC - Israel Credit Card).

Eyal has a strong background in risk management, fraud prevention, and compliance. Eyal has managed large teams and demonstrated their expertise in optimizing payment solutions, eCommerce strategy, and global processing operations.

Eyal'searlier experiences include serving as the Head of Fraud, Payments and Risk Management at Duplicate Inc (Duplicate Poker), Co-Founder of the e-commerce company HomeTag, and Senior Corporate Analyst at EL AL. Eyal also worked as a Project Manager at TOSHIBA TEC EUROPE.

Eyal Shohet holds an MBA degree in Finance and Marketing from the Paris School of Business. Eyal also has a BA degree in Economics and Political Science from Tel Aviv University.
