Patrick McCarren

Associate Director, Computational Chemistry at Tango Therapeutics

Patrick McCarren started their career in 1997 as an Undergraduate Researcher at The Ohio State University Department of Chemistry. Patrick then worked as a Research Assistant in the same department before joining UCLA as a Graduate Research Assistant and NIH Chemistry-Biology Training Interface Fellow. At UCLA, they also served as a System Administrator. After that, Patrick worked as an Intern in Computational Chemistry at Pfizer and as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Computer-Aided Drug Discovery at Novartis. Patrick then joined the Broad Institute as a Group Leader and most recently, they are working at Tango Therapeutics as an Associate Director of Computational Chemistry.

Patrick McCarren received their Bachelor's degree in Physics and Chemistry from The Ohio State University from 1995 to 2000. Patrick then went on to earn their Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from UCLA from 2001 to 2008.
