Yuri Valchuk

Yuri Valchuk has extensive work experience in the field of software development and quality assurance. Yuri is currently serving as the Head of Infrastructure at Tango Me. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Engineering at IDT Corporation from December 2018 to December 2020. In 2018, they also worked as a Quality Consultant at Waste Logics, where they provided coaching and consulting services to improve Scrum, development, and quality engineering processes, and developed an automation framework. Before that, Yuri worked at Fitbit for six years as a QA Manager, responsible for ensuring the quality of software products developed by engineers. Yuri has also held roles as a Senior QA Engineer at Intrahealth Canada Ltd. from 2008 to 2011, and as a QA Engineer at Itransition Group in 2007.

Yuri Valchuk completed their Master's degree in Mathematics and Mechanics at Belarusian State University from 2003 to 2008. Yuri then pursued another Master's degree in International Economics at Belarusian State Economic University from 2008 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Yuri obtained the "Hard Skills for IT-Managers" certification from Sorokin&Kulinkovich Studio in June 2019. Yuri also received the "Certified Scrum Master" certification from Scrum Alliance in May 2018. Furthermore, Yuri obtained the "Certified Tester" certification from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in 2012.
